Frequently Asked Questions

If you don’t see your question here, reach out via the contact form. We’re happy to help.

How do live critique circles work?
Critique sessions run weekly on video with time-boxed rounds. Mentors and peers give kind, specific notes using shared criteria. You can also submit asynchronously if you can’t attend live.
Do I need any software or special tools?
For traditional courses, a basic pencil, eraser, and sketchbook are enough. For digital classes, any tablet with a pressure-sensitive stylus works. We share recommended tool lists in each course overview.
Can beginners keep up?
Yes. Our beginner paths start with confidence-building drills, clear demos, and examples of common mistakes. You’ll progress at your own pace with on-demand lessons and weekly checkpoints.
Do you offer certificates?
Yes. Upon completing required projects and reviews, you’ll receive a digital certificate noting hours and competencies covered. Certificates are not academic degrees.
What is your refund policy?
We offer a 14-day refund window for self-paced courses if less than 25% is completed. Live cohorts have different deadlines listed in each course. See Terms for full details.
Is there community moderation?
Yes. We enforce a clear code of conduct. Harassment, plagiarism, or spam result in warnings or removal. Our pledge keeps feedback precise, kind, and on-topic.
Can I access materials after the course ends?
You retain access to recordings and resources for at least one year from enrollment. If we ever need to retire content, we’ll provide equivalent replacements.
Do you provide accommodations for accessibility?
Absolutely. We provide captions, transcripts, and alternative assignments by request. Tell us your needs via the contact form.
